“My experience with my solar system has been as follows: Danny Simmons, of Go Solar of Virginia, came and carefully explained, in detail, the costs and benefits of getting the system he designed for my needs and left me an estimate. It was expertly installed at the end of 2018. Prior to going solar, my electricity bills averaged $219.00 per month. After going solar, my electricity bills averaged $51.00 per month. So far, in January - April of 2024, the average has been $18.00 per month; AND, with the sale of extra solar energy that I didn't use in 2024, I currently have an extra $126.50 in my bank account due to solar! I give my highest recommendation if you're looking to install solar. Danny met and exceeded my expectations. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made himself available whenever there was a question or an issue came up. He made sure everything went smoothly... and it did. Even after the install, Danny made sure to keep in touch and help getting everything set up with my SREC account even though that had nothing to do with the install. I just passed the one year mark and my system was designed to provide 15,12 kWh/yr. My actual solar production wad 19.61 kWh... almost 30% better than I was expecting. Use Danny... you won't be disappointed!

danny has been great! He walked me thru the numbers highlighting the benefits of solar and wwas present thru out the entire installation process. Since then, I have contacted him multiple times with various follow up questions (mostly on weekends even) and he was always prompt with a response. Is the solar lease really $0 down?
Yes - there is no upfront cost, and no cost to install or maintain the panels. What you pay is a single locked rate for the power the system produces, set below what your utility charges. Because we own the system, the federal commercial credit and the SREC income come to us as the owner, and that is what funds the $0-down structure.
What do I actually get out of it?
Your rate for the power the system makes is locked for 25 years while utility rates keep climbing, and the panels cost you nothing to install or maintain. Prefer to own instead? Cash and loan purchases are available too - every proposal shows all three side by side.
Does my roof qualify?
Strong sun exposure - especially a south-facing roof - qualifies for the most generation-based programs. The pre-qualification form takes about 2 minutes, and we analyze your roof from aerial imagery, so there is no site visit just to find out.
Who takes care of the panels?
We do. Under the lease, installation, maintenance, and monitoring are handled for you for the life of the agreement.
